This print features illustrations from the Manchester Museum's botany collection which includes three-quarters of a million plant specimens. The collection has grown from the mid-19th century onwards as people with a passion for the natural world have donated their personal collections, archives and books.

The collections are catalogued and photographed to document the world's flora, to further facilitate their use and provide a permanent record of botanical diversity. The collection is used in teaching at the University of Manchester to enhance the student experience and loaned worldwide for research into climate change, naming new species of DNA analysis.

The artwork is printed in the UK on 250 gsm wood-free smooth art paper using a flat-bed digital press, on paper certified by both the Programme for the Endorsement of Forestry Certification and the Forest Stewardship Council. Printed by King&Mcgaw, the UK's leading publisher of fine art prints in the arts sector.

Print size 11 x 14 inches. Available as print only or with a hand crafted black wooden frame.
