The Sculpts Museum Tile: R for Rainforest

Inspired by the live animals that Manchester Museum cares for, this tile transports you to the rainforests of Panama and Costa Rica. The Vivarium houses a collection of live amphibians and reptiles including many critically endangered species. It is unusual for a museum to care for live animals, but Manchester Museum has done so for over 50 years, offering a unique opportunity to see rare and beautiful creatures and watch conservation in action.

There are so many creatures to spot on the R tile, including the Harlequin Toad and the tiny Poison Dart Frogs.

Each Tile is designed in Manchester by The Sculpts. The tiles are screen printed and hand-rolled in Stoke-on-Trent, before being fired in Manchester-local kilns.

Material: Ceramic
Production: Screen printed
